I know there are others who have similar foot problems to mine so I wanted to share some feedback on these. I got these boot in last weekend and have only just started breaking them in. Featuring Scarpa Liskamm, Hanwag Alaskan, and Hanwag Sirius ii. Scarpa Grand The Han Wag is definately more boot, but for me the Nevada is about as comfortable boot as you’ll find. For me the Nevada does not provide enough support on an extreme mountain hunt though ( sheep, goats). For a general purpose boot, you can’t beat the Nevada. If you’re planning on hunting the tough stuff you may want more boot like the I had a pair of lapponias and I really like the weight and stiffness, however Crispi boots chew up the back of my heels. I had the Salomon Quests, and although they were comfortable, they leaked right away walking through damp grass. Last year I hunted with a pair of Scarpas, but the sole is a little too stiff and hurts my feet after a few days. I’ve used both. The guides I have are the uninsulated. The Tibet Hi have probably held up the best overall of any boot I’ve used which includes a lot of miles in the high desert country and I took my Tibets to AK this year too. That being said I’m on my second pair of Tibet’s and the boots don’t stay waterproof. Got my Scarpas in this week and agree with Ronb's description that the Tibet is wider in the toes, I'll likely end up going with the lowas as my foot is just a tad wide and the Scarpas seem a little snug. For $100 cheaper though I wish the Scarpas would work for me. Feb 12, 2017. Banned. I'm running Lowa Z-6S GTX boots (more a duty/hiker boot than a hunting boot, but they work well for me). Not sure how the fit of that boot compares to the Tibet, but I found I like the Superfeet Guide insoles. I have an average arch, I think. Good luck with your search. .
